ECO LUXE DIFFUSER BASE

✨️ This Eco Friendly Unscented Base is not only voc compliant but so simple to work with. The performance is chef's kiss. It's time to bid farewell to cloudy diffusers as this base works with oil soluble and water soluble fragrance oils.

Reed and other diffuser products such as cold air and ultra sonic offer your customers the option to flood their space with ambient and pleasing aromas without the flame. It gives an air of sophistication perfect for tight spaces, decor and your diffuser doesn't need to be watched like a candle.

Pros:

Performance: High rate of capillary action; your oils will glide up the reed sticks with ease (pro tip use fiber reeds for optimal performance. While bamboo is aesthetic, its not as efficient as fiber). While we can't guarantee that this base will work with every oil on the planet, it has worked with some our tough oils, namely Calming Elemi.

Eco Friendly: Voc Compliant: no alcohol, no DPG, phthalates, parabens , no prop 65 and better for the environment.

You control the strength of diffusion first with your FO load, and with the number of reeds you use. 6-8 for moderate throw and 9-10 for increased throw. Pro tip, your reed stick should at least be double the height of the bottle, not for performance but for aesthetics. Short reeds will look weird in a tall bottle.

Multi-use: This base can be used in reed, cold air and ultrasonic electric diffusers. Tons of fragrance lovers love to expand beyond essential oils for their cold air diffusers.

You will Save $$ on the most important part of a diffuser, the fragrance. The fragrance load for this base 10%-20% which means you don't have to use 25 or 30% in your reed diffuser to get decent performance.

Cons:

Wear gloves although it's not fragrance

Be patient and let the blend sit, your fragrance needs to macerate/dance with the base so forget what you have been told about adding reeds after a few mins. 

How to Make a Reed Diffuser (example):

Measure out Base 80%

Measure Fragrance Oil 20%

Mix together for at least 2-4 mins.

Allow to sit for 2-3 day before selling or adding reeds. That's it, you are done.

Your customers get to enjoy their favorite candle fragrance all the time. Tip: Diffusers are one of the highest grossing home fragrance products on the market, don't believe me? Stroll down the aisles of any trendy home decor store and compare the cost of a diffuser to that of a large candle.

This base tops all the other bases I have tested. 

Testing:

After you mix, let the blend sit for a couple days, create a testing calendar and check the strength over 2 weeks after the reeds are fully saturated to determine when it starts to wane. That way you can have a good idea of performance. Complete two different tests. One where you flip the reeds right away and another where you write down the time it takes the fragrance to rise up the reeds fully without flipping. 

Bottle Labeling for your products:

Flammable liquid. Do not light reeds. Do not ingest.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Place on a flat, stable surface. Oil may cause damage if spilled.

Wash hands thoroughly after flipping/handling fragranced reed sticks without gloves.
